What is a “System”?
We live in systems, they are all around us! The family we were born into (and the ones who raised us), our team at work, our group of friends, the human body, and the environment are all systems and they all have their impact on us and the way we behave and perceive the world around us.
And “Systemic Coaching”?
In systemic coaching, we consider the entire system and its members and how they relate to each other and contribute to the problem and its solution.
Systemic coaching is…
-
solution-oriented
-
inquisitive and non-judgemental
-
respectful and appreciative
-
holistic
What is a “Constellation”?
A constellation is a coaching method that maps out relationships and hidden patterns.
We can’t change what we can’t see, and constellations help make the invisible visible.
Imagine a night sky full of scattered stars. At first they seem random, but when you start connecting them, patterns and stories appear that were hidden before.
In a group constellation session, one person brings a problem or struggle they’re facing, and others in the group step into the roles of people, feelings, or elements involved – the so-called representatives. Like stars falling into place, the representatives give hidden dynamics a body and a voice. Emotions and relationships begin to move and reveal what was previously unseen.
In a 1:1 setting, we use floor markers (colored paper or felt) instead of people standing in the room, and I take the role of the representatives myself.
Constellations offer a bird’s-eye view, helping you step outside your own perspective and see the whole system. From that clarity often comes understanding, empathy, acceptance, and the conditions for real, lasting change.
But honestly, it’s much easier to experience than to describe.
If you’re curious, come join our next group session or book your 1:1 session with me 😉

I am a coach. My methods are not intended to replace a visit to the doctor or psychologist/psychiatrist, but rather to provide insights, inspiration, perspective and motivation. To help you help yourself.
If you are in crisis or you think you may have an emergency, call your doctor immediately, talk to a counselor at a crisis center in your area, or call the emergency hotline.
